Zags, Adidas and Nike are working together to make shoes for the future

Zags and Adidas are joining forces to create shoes for future generations.

Zags, the sportswear giant, said on Monday that it has signed a deal to manufacture shoes for sportswomen in 2018.

The agreement was announced by the footwear company on its website.

“We are delighted to join forces with Zags to ensure that we can continue to innovate and develop products that meet the demands of the sport and lifestyle market,” Adidas president of sport, sport marketing and innovation, Christian Möhlenkamp, said.

“With this new partnership, we will further improve our global supply chain and deliver new and innovative products in a sustainable way for our customers.”

The collaboration with Zag comes after Adidas unveiled its first-ever shoe in March that has an Adidas logo.

Adidas has previously released shoes with Nike, Nike’s parent company, in the past.

Last month, Zags announced it would invest US$50m to build a factory in China that will manufacture its footwear in-house.
